Partnership

Your mark, inside the way people move.

OORMA turns a recorded activity and a photo into an image worth sharing. A partner overlay puts your identity inside those images — published by the people themselves, on their own profiles, to the people who follow them.

The mechanism

What an overlay is

It is the graphic that lays the data over the photo: the route, the numbers from the outing, the typography, the colours. Whoever uses OORMA picks which overlay to apply, and that choice is the partnership.

The whole difference from advertising space is here: the image stays theirs. It is their outing, their photo, their effort — and your mark is in it because they wanted it there, not because we put it in front of them. That is why people publish it instead of closing it.

How it switches on

Three ways to exist in the catalogue

  • Featured

First in the picker, visible to everyone, always.

Broad collaborations, where the point is that as many people as possible use it.

  • Time-limited

Live only for a period. It switches itself on and off, on the date.

An event, a season, a campaign with a beginning and an end.

  • Code-locked

Unlocked with a code you hand out — on the race number, in the race pack, in an email.

The people who were actually there. The value isn’t that others can’t have it: it’s that you were there.

Who we’re talking to

Who it suits

Event organisers

Races, gran fondos, randonnées, trails. The people who rode carry your event inside their own photos, for days after the finish.

Associations and fundraisers

People moving for a cause can say so while they do it, instead of having to explain it in words.

Regions and local bodies

The hills, the lake, the park. The people who cross them become the way they are seen.

Shops, clubs, teams

A community that recognises itself in a mark, and carries it around without it having to be a jersey.

In practice

How we work

Three things from you: the logo in vector, the colours, and an idea of how you want to be told. No agency brief needed — usually it is enough to say what looks like you and what doesn’t.

The rest is on us: the overlay gets designed, built and published. It is not a template filled with your logo — every overlay is its own code, with its own typography and its own way of handling the data.

It works across every sport OORMA reads — road, gravel, MTB, running, trail, hiking, cross-country skiing — and in the two formats that actually matter: vertical for stories, tall square for posts.

Honesty

Where we actually are

OORMA has only just launched. We have no audience to sell you, and we won’t quote numbers we don’t have.

If you’re looking for a platform with an audience already built, today that isn’t us — and we’d rather say so now than later. If instead you want to be among the first, and to have an overlay designed around you rather than a space you bought, this is the right moment: the first partners are the ones who decide how this gets done.

The limits

What we never do

  • We don’t sell data. There are no accounts, and the photo and the route never leave the phone that recorded them: images are composed inside the browser.
  • We don’t put your mark on people who didn’t choose it. No overlay applies itself.
  • We don’t make banners. If an overlay looks like an advert, nobody will use it — and that would be our failure, not yours.

Tell us what you organise.

Write and tell us who you are, when it happens and what you’d like people to take home. We answer even when the answer is “not yet”.
